Uniform


School Uniform must be worn at all times. This includes to school and from school each day.

THE PRINCIPAL’S DECISION ON WHAT IS APPROPRIATE IS FINAL.
THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES DURING ANY ACADEMIC YEAR.
ENQUIRIES ABOUT UNIFORM SHOULD BE MADE THROUGH THE HEAD OF YEAR OR SENIOR TEACHERS.
APPROPRIATE SANCTIONS WILL BE APPLIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHOOL DISCIPLINE POLICY IF THE SCHOOL UNIFORM IS NOT WORN CORRECTLY.

Boys' Uniform
Pupils in years 8 – 12 the school uniform consists of:
Black blazer with school badge
White/Grey shirt
Charcoal grey or Black trousers
School Ties
Black shoes
Grey V necked pullover
School overcoat
For pupils in years 13 – 14
Black trousers
Blue shirt
School tie (Senior)
School overcoat
Girls’ Uniform
Trousers Black: school trousers
Shirt: Sixth Form blue shirt
Tie: Sixth Form tie
Jumper: Sixth Form fleece/jumper
Shoes: Plain black (maximum heel height, 4 cm)
Coat: CBS school fleece or coat






 

ALL STUDENTS

Overcoats must not be worn inside school buildings
All jewellery is forbidden
Baseball caps are not permitted
Mobile phones are not permitted
Jewellery: One plain ring and a watch. One pair of small plain gold/ silver studs may be worn in the earlobes by those with pierced ears. Other visible piercings are not permitted in school. Piercings should only be arranged for the start of holiday time so that they are healed before term begins. Plasters are not acceptable.
Makeup: Makeup should be natural and minimum. Dark nail polish is not permitted.
Badges: Only school badges may be worn.
Hair: Hair must be neat and tidy. Extreme hairstyles such as in colour, bleaching, spiking or with additions such as braids, extensions etc are not appropriate for wearing with school uniform and will not be permitted.
Headwear: No headwear is permitted
